About the Role
Join a flourishing secondary school in East London as a dedicated Cover Supervisor. This dynamic role involves managing classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and continue their learning journey effectively. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals for immediate starts, offering comprehensive flexibility with contract options including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and even permanent positions, all supported by a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160.

Key Responsibilities
* Effectively supervise students within the classroom, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
* Ensure students are engaged with pre-set work, providing appropriate support and encouragement.
* Manage classroom behaviour robustly and consistently, adhering to school policies and procedures.
* Communicate any significant issues or concerns regarding student welfare or behaviour to relevant staff members.
* Facilitate the smooth continuation of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher.
* Encourage a respectful and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued.

About You
* Possess a strong ability to manage and motivate groups of secondary school students.
* Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
* Exhibit a calm, confident, and authoritative presence within the classroom.
* Be highly adaptable and able to respond effectively to varying classroom needs and situations.
* Hold a genuine passion for supporting the educational journey and well-being of young people.
* Have previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
