About the Role
A well-established school in Luton is seeking a dedicated SEN Supply Teacher. This role involves providing essential cover for classes across various adapted curriculum areas within specialist secondary settings. You will be instrumental in maintaining educational continuity for pupils with diverse special educational needs. The position offers the flexibility of daily supply and short-term assignments. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and highly differentiated lessons across adapted curriculum areas.
* Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment for all pupils.
* Implement pre-prepared lesson plans effectively, adapting them to meet specific pupil requirements.
* Manage classroom behaviour consistently and uphold school policies with professionalism.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and other school staff to support pupil progress.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils under your care at all times.

About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* You possess recent experience teaching within secondary SEN settings.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a nurturing approach.
* You are highly adaptable and flexible, embracing new school environments readily.
* You understand and implement a range of differentiation strategies effectively.
* You are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
