About the Role
A flourishing school in South West London is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their primary phase immediately. This specialist setting focuses on providing outstanding support for pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will play a crucial role in implementing de-escalation strategies, offering vital mentoring, and building strong, positive relationships with children. We are open to various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, offering a competitive daily rate between £95 and £120. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a tangible impact on young lives within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct, tailored support to primary pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
* Effectively implement de-escalation techniques during challenging moments.
* Offer consistent mentoring to help pupils develop self-regulation skills.
* Cultivate strong, positive relationships with pupils to foster trust and respect.
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lesson activities.
* Contribute actively to a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere.

* Possess prior experience supporting primary-aged children with SEMH needs.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
