A dedicated school is seeking an empathetic and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to provide essential support for pupils within a primary mainstream setting, starting as soon as possible. This pivotal role involves assisting young learners with special educational needs, fostering their development and ensuring an inclusive learning environment. We are offering flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £95 to £110. Your commitment will directly contribute to the academic and personal growth of children requiring additional assistance.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups with identified special educational needs.
* Implement individual learning plans and strategies effectively under the guidance of class teachers and SENCOs.
* Assist in creating a stimulating and supportive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued.
* Observe and report on pupil progress, engagement, and any emerging concerns to relevant staff members.
* Support pupils with their communication, social, emotional, and physical development during school hours.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to differentiate learning activities and resources appropriately.

* You possess demonstrable experience working with children who have special educational needs in a primary setting.
