About the Role
A highly regarded school is actively seeking a passionate SEN Class Teacher to join their dedicated team immediately. This pivotal role involves delivering a tailored and adapted curriculum to secondary-aged pupils with complex learning needs within enriching small group settings. You will be instrumental in cultivating a supportive and stimulating environment where every pupil can achieve their full potential. This flexible position is available across various contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or on a permanent basis, offering an exciting opportunity to make a profound difference.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement engaging, differentiated learning programmes specifically for pupils with complex needs.
* Adapt teaching materials and methodologies to cater effectively to diverse learning styles and abilities.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes pupil engagement and personal growth.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and multidisciplinary specialists to ensure comprehensive pupil support.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress meticulously, providing targeted feedback and adjusting strategies accordingly.
* Develop and apply effective behaviour management techniques tailored to individual pupil requirements.

About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience working within a specialist SEN secondary setting.
* You have a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of complex learning difficulties and associated support strategies.
* You exhibit exceptional communication skills, building strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
* You are resilient, proactive, and committed to overcoming challenges in a dynamic educational environment.
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for inspiring young people with complex needs to unlock their unique potential.
* You are dedicated to continuous professional development and embracing innovative teaching approaches.
