Key Responsibilities
• Provide engaging support for children across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering stimulating activities.
• Create a positive and safe learning environment, promoting independence.
• Support children with special educational needs (SEN) on an individual or small group basis.
• Observe and record children's progress, contributing to assessment discussions.
• Foster strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers.
About You
• Possess relevant experience working with early years children, ideally within a primary setting.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for early childhood development and education.
• Hold strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with young learners.
• Exhibit patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to supporting classroom activities.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
• A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning would be advantageous.
