Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a differentiated and engaging curriculum tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of SEMH students.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a calm and productive classroom atmosphere.
* Foster strong, positive relationships with students, building trust and promoting their self-esteem.
* Assess student progress thoroughly, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
* Collaborate closely with support staff and external agencies to ensure holistic student well-being and development.
* Actively contribute to a safe and inclusive school culture, upholding the highest standards of safeguarding.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and demonstrable experience working within an SEN or SEMH setting.
* Exhibit exceptional behaviour management skills and a proven ability to de-escalate challenging situations calmly.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people and a commitment to their educational journey.
* Show adaptability and resilience, thriving in a dynamic and sometimes demanding educational environment.
* Possess a creative approach to teaching, able to inspire and motivate learners who have experienced previous educational barriers.
