About the Role
A well-established school is seeking a dedicated SEN Class Teacher to join their vibrant primary team. This pivotal role involves leading a small group of pupils, each with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), within a nurturing specialist environment. You will be responsible for creatively adapting the national curriculum to meet diverse learning needs, ensuring every child can thrive academically and personally. Collaboration with teaching assistants, therapists, and families is integral to delivering holistic support for each pupil.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs for primary-aged pupils.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all learners feel valued and supported.
* Assess pupil progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback and adapting strategies as required.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals.
* Maintain open and effective communication with parents and carers, celebrating achievements and addressing concerns.
* Contribute positively to the wider school community, upholding its values and ethos.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a genuine passion for SEN education.
* Demonstrate experience working with primary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere.
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and family engagement.
* Be adaptable, resilient, and committed to continuous professional development.
* Have an understanding of EHCPs and experience in adapting the national curriculum effectively.
