Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Chemistry lessons to students of diverse abilities.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and academic excellence.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum and departmental resources.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives.
• Uphold the school's ethos and values, promoting a culture of respect and achievement.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a strong degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Demonstrate a specialist knowledge of Chemistry, with the ability to teach Science across secondary key stages.
• Possess a genuine passion for your subject and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and an ability to differentiate learning effectively.
• Be a collaborative team player, eager to contribute to a supportive departmental environment.
• Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as more experienced colleagues (MPS/UPS).
