Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver stimulating Chemistry lessons that engage pupils of varying abilities.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and review of the Science curriculum.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives.
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment in line with school policies.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a strong degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• Demonstrate exceptional subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Chemistry.
• Possess the ability to inspire, motivate, and effectively manage secondary school pupils.
• Committed to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
