About the Role
Embark on a rewarding opportunity as an SEN Class Teacher within a dynamic primary school dedicated to specialist education. This challenging role involves leading a small class of pupils, each supported by an Education, Health and Care Plan, and skillfully adapting the national curriculum to meet their diverse learning needs. You will foster a stimulating and inclusive environment, collaborating closely with a dedicated team of teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure every child thrives.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for small groups of primary pupils with EHCPs.
* Skilfully adapt the national curriculum to cater for individual learning styles and developmental stages.
* Implement bespoke interventions and strategies to support pupil progress across all areas.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals to provide holistic support.
* Maintain clear and accurate records of pupil achievement, progress, and support plans.
* Foster strong, communicative relationships with parents and carers, involving them in their child’s educational journey.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience working with primary-aged pupils with special educational needs.
* Exhibit a profound understanding of various SEN conditions and effective pedagogical approaches.
* Display exceptional classroom management skills, fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment.
* Demonstrate a proactive and resilient approach to overcoming educational challenges.
* Be a collaborative team player, eager to contribute to a supportive and innovative school community.
* Hold a genuine passion for unlocking the potential in every child, regardless of their individual barriers to learning.
