About the Role
A thriving school in West London is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to provide crucial assistance to a secondary pupil with complex needs. This rewarding position involves implementing an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) to facilitate curriculum access and champion the development of essential independence and life skills. We are looking for someone available to start as soon as possible, with opportunities for long-term, daily supply, or even permanent engagement, offering a competitive daily rate of £85 - £110.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored 1:1 support to a secondary pupil requiring specialised assistance.
* Diligently implement all targets outlined within the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan.
* Facilitate the pupil's engagement with the curriculum across various subjects.
* Champion the development of crucial independence and self-help skills.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment tailored to individual needs.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure holistic support.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with complex Special Educational Needs.
* You are adept at understanding and effectively implementing EHCPs.
* You exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
* You are committed to fostering positive relationships and promoting pupil well-being.
* You demonstrate a proactive approach to supporting learning and personal development.
* You are an excellent communicator, capable of liaising effectively with diverse stakeholders.
