Key Responsibilities
* Deliver dedicated 1:1 support to a specific secondary pupil requiring assistance with complex special educational needs.
* Implement and meticulously monitor personalised learning plans in strict alignment with EHCP objectives.
* Facilitate seamless access to the curriculum across diverse subjects, adapting learning resources as required.
* Nurture the pupil's growing independence and actively develop essential practical life skills.
* Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive holistic support.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with complex special educational needs within a secondary phase.
* Exhibit a thorough understanding of effective strategies for promoting pupil engagement and academic progress.
* Be proficient in translating individualised education plans (EHCPs) into practical, supportive interventions.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* Show genuine empathy, patience, and resilience, consistently maintaining a positive and encouraging approach.
