This position offers flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent opportunities, commencing as soon as possible. A competitive daily rate of £90 - £115 is offered.
Key Responsibilities
* Support secondary students with autism spectrum disorder in a specialist SEN setting.
* Facilitate effective social communication skills among pupils.
* Implement tailored strategies to manage and accommodate sensory needs of students.
* Assist students in accessing and engaging with the secondary curriculum across various subjects.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised support plans for pupils.
About You
* Demonstrable experience supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
* Possess a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to student support.
* Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to diverse needs.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dedicated team.
* Understand strategies for managing sensory needs and promoting social communication.
