Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialised support to primary pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), both individually and in small groups.
* Implement structured routines and clear visual aids to enhance learning and independence.
* Utilise a range of sensory strategies effectively to support pupils' engagement and emotional regulation.
* Facilitate and develop communication skills through various methods and supportive techniques.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing learning resources and adapting activities to meet diverse needs.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Demonstrate previous experience working within an educational or care setting, preferably with SEN.
* Hold a strong understanding of effective strategies for managing and supporting pupils with ASD.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
