About the Role
A dedicated school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Biology Teacher, ideally with a specialism in Chemistry, to join their thriving Science department. This exciting permanent opportunity involves fostering a passion for scientific discovery among secondary school pupils, guiding them through engaging lessons and inspiring a deep understanding of the natural world. Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver stimulating Biology and Chemistry lessons across the secondary curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and participation.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum and departmental resources.
• Participate actively in school life, including extra-curricular activities and departmental meetings.
• Uphold the highest standards of teaching and learning, ensuring all pupils are challenged and supported.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Possess a strong academic background in Biology, with a proven ability to teach Chemistry effectively.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a passion for inspiring young learners.
• Be committed to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
• Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT), or an experienced educator at Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS), we welcome your application.
