Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver engaging English lessons across the secondary curriculum, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.
* Assess pupil progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback that drives attainment and identifies areas for development.
* Cultivate a vibrant classroom atmosphere where literary exploration and creative expression thrive for all learners.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies, ensuring a focused and respectful learning environment conducive to success.
* Contribute actively to departmental initiatives and the broader school community, enhancing the educational experience for every pupil.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience teaching English at secondary level; applications are welcomed from ECTs through to UPS.
* Exhibit a profound passion for English language and literature, capable of inspiring diverse learners and fostering their intellectual curiosity.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* Committed to continuous professional development, actively seeking opportunities to refine pedagogical practices and subject knowledge.
* Possess a proactive and resilient approach, thriving within the demands of a busy and dynamic school environment.
