We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a flourishing primary school in Hertfordshire, offering exceptional support to pupils across various year groups. This vital role involves providing both general classroom assistance and tailored SEN support, fostering an inclusive learning environment for all. Candidates can explore a range of contract options, from flexible daily supply and short-term placements to long-term and permanent opportunities, starting as soon as possible. Successful applicants will be compensated at a rate of £95 - £110 per day, reflecting their valuable contribution to pupil development.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils individually and in small groups with their learning activities.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing and organising engaging classroom resources.
* Provide targeted assistance to pupils with Special Educational Needs, implementing their individual learning plans.
* Help to maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment conducive to pupil progress.
* Monitor pupil engagement and progress, providing constructive feedback to the class teacher.
* Facilitate positive behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful classroom.
About You
* Hold relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support capacity.
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged pupils' academic and personal growth.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong rapport with pupils and staff.
* Exhibit a proactive and adaptable approach, thriving in a dynamic school environment.
* Have experience or a strong understanding of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children at all times.
