Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct support to EYFS children, individually and in small groups, across various learning activities.
• Assist the class teacher in preparing and maintaining a stimulating and safe learning environment.
• Support the social and emotional development of pupils, promoting positive behaviour and independence.
• Contribute to observations and assessments of children's progress, feeding back to the teacher.
• Implement tailored support strategies for children with Special Educational Needs, as directed.
• Engage creatively with pupils, encouraging their curiosity and participation in play-based learning.
About You
• Possess a genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to child development.
• Hold relevant experience working with young children, ideally within an EYFS setting.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport with children, staff, and parents.
• Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to pupil well-being.
• Show initiative in supporting diverse learning needs, including those with SEN.
