Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary pupils with SEMH needs within a specialist environment.
* Implement effective strategies to promote positive behaviour and manage challenging situations with empathy.
* Assist pupils in developing robust emotional regulation skills, enhancing their self-awareness and resilience.
* Facilitate pupils' successful reintegration into classroom learning and wider school activities.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to differentiate learning materials and create an inclusive educational experience.
* Monitor pupil progress, contributing valuable observations to support individual learning plans and adjustments.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting the holistic development and well-being of young people with SEMH needs.
* Demonstrate previous experience working effectively with secondary-aged pupils in an SEN context.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* Show a proactive and resilient approach to supporting pupils through their unique challenges and triumphs.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and eager to learn new strategies and approaches.
