Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across the secondary curriculum to diverse abilities.
• Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for scientific inquiry.
• Assess and monitor student progress diligently, providing constructive feedback to support their continuous development.
• Collaborate proactively with departmental colleagues to develop innovative resources and enhance schemes of work.
• Participate actively in the school's pastoral care system, supporting the holistic well-being of pupils.
• Contribute to a range of enriching extracurricular activities that broaden students' scientific understanding and experiences.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK and possess a relevant degree in Science.
• Possess a genuine passion for your subject, capable of conveying its excitement and relevance to young people.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a steadfast commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
• Be adept at differentiating instruction effectively to meet the varied learning needs of all students.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
• Show a proactive approach to continuous professional development and a desire to contribute to whole-school improvement.
