Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive 1:1 support to a secondary pupil with complex special educational needs.
* Implement and monitor personalised learning strategies outlined in the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
* Facilitate access to the curriculum, adapting materials and approaches as required.
* Foster the pupil's independence, promoting self-help and organisational skills.
* Support the development of essential life skills, both within and outside the classroom setting.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure holistic student development.
About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with complex SEN, ideally in a secondary setting.
* You are genuinely passionate about making a significant difference to a pupil's educational journey.
* You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport effectively with students and staff.
* You are patient, empathetic, and resilient, able to adapt to varying individual needs and situations.
* You hold a relevant qualification or have significant experience in supporting special educational needs.
