SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a inclusive school in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, starting as soon as possible. This rewarding opportunity involves providing essential support to primary-aged pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans. You will work closely with children in both one-to-one and small group settings, assisting those with complex learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. We offer flexible contract options, ranging from daily supply and short-term placements to long-term and permanent positions, with a competitive daily rate of £90 to £115.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to primary pupils with special educational needs.
* Implement individualised learning plans and educational strategies for children with EHCPs.
* Assist pupils with a range of complex learning difficulties, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language challenges.
