About the Role
Join an inclusive school dedicated to fostering every pupil's potential as a 1:1 SEN Support Assistant, offering crucial individualised assistance to a secondary pupil with complex needs. This rewarding position involves meticulously following Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets, ensuring the pupil gains full access to their curriculum, whilst actively cultivating their independence and essential life skills. We are seeking committed professionals for immediate starts, with opportunities available for long-term, daily supply, or permanent contracts, offering a competitive daily rate of £85 to £110.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated and tailored 1:1 support for a secondary pupil with complex special educational needs.
* Diligently implement and monitor individualised education plans (EHCPs) to achieve specific learning objectives.
* Facilitate the pupil's effective engagement with and access to the broader secondary curriculum.
* Actively promote the development of crucial independence and essential life skills.
* Foster a positive, encouraging, and highly nurturing learning environment for the pupil.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and external professionals to ensure holistic support.

About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting secondary pupils with complex special educational needs.
* Show a comprehensive understanding of EHCPs and their practical application within an educational setting.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience when navigating diverse pupil requirements.
* Hold a genuine passion for fostering individual pupil growth, achievement, and well-being.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* Demonstrate a proactive and adaptable approach to meeting varied learning requirements.
