About the Role
We are collaborating with a inclusive school dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging environment for all pupils. This specialist setting requires an exceptional SEMH Teaching Assistant to work with primary-aged children who have social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will play a crucial role in providing tailored support, implementing de-escalation strategies, and building strong, positive relationships that promote pupil well-being and academic progress. This opportunity offers various contract options including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated support to primary pupils experiencing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
* Successfully implement de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviours effectively.
* Mentor individual pupils, fostering resilience and promoting self-regulation skills.
* Build and maintain strong, positive rapport with pupils, encouraging trust and engagement.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to deliver a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
* Contribute to the creation of an inclusive and nurturing classroom atmosphere.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting primary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Demonstrate previous experience in a specialist SEN or primary setting.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to connect with pupils and colleagues.
* Show a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to daily challenges.
* Be proactive and adaptable, able to respond effectively to varying pupil needs.
* Hold relevant qualifications or professional development in supporting children with complex needs.
