About the Role
Join a supportive school seeking a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to empower primary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties within its specialist provision. This long-term, permanent opportunity, starting as soon as possible, invites you to play a crucial role in delivering personalised care and implementing vital therapy programmes. You will contribute daily to a stimulating and nurturing environment, with a competitive salary ranging from £95 to £120 per day.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide individualised support for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties, addressing their unique educational and personal needs.
* Implement tailored therapy programmes, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language support, as directed by specialists.
* Assist pupils with personal care routines, ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety are always maintained.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities to promote interaction, development, and well-being.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to monitor pupil progress and adapt strategies effectively.
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all pupils within the specialist provision.

About You
* You possess proven experience supporting children or young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* You demonstrate a compassionate and patient approach to providing personal care and assistance.
* You have strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with pupils, staff, and parents/carers.
* You are adept at following individualised education plans and therapy schedules meticulously.
* You bring a proactive and adaptable mindset, ready to embrace new challenges daily.
* You hold a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of pupils with complex needs.
