About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Cover Supervisor to join a highly regarded school in the East Midlands, starting as soon as possible. You will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning across various subjects, ensuring a positive and productive environment for students in the absence of their regular teachers. This flexible position offers a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160, with potential for long-term, short-term, daily supply, or even permanent engagement for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities
* Confidently manage classroom dynamics, ensuring a focused and respectful learning atmosphere.
* Effectively deliver pre-planned lessons and activities across a diverse secondary curriculum.
* Proactively engage students, encouraging their participation and maintaining high standards of behaviour.
* Prioritise the safety and welfare of all pupils, adhering strictly to school policies and procedures.
* Communicate clearly and concisely with teaching staff regarding student progress, incidents, and feedback.
* Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, seamlessly transitioning between various subject areas throughout the school day.

About You
* Possess proven experience in a similar educational support role within a secondary setting.
* Exhibit exceptional classroom management techniques, capable of commanding respect and engagement.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting student learning and fostering positive educational outcomes.
* Are highly adaptable, able to respond effectively to unforeseen challenges and changing daily schedules.
* Communicate with clarity, confidence, and professionalism when interacting with students and colleagues.
* Hold an up-to-date Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one promptly.
