Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary pupils facing diverse and complex Special Educational Needs.
* Assist teaching staff in the effective implementation of individualised learning plans and educational strategies.
* Help facilitate access to a modified curriculum across various subjects and activities.
* Contribute to creating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
* Encourage the development of essential life skills, communication, and personal autonomy in pupils.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive pupil support.
About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with complex Special Educational Needs, ideally within a secondary school setting.
* A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach is evident in your interactions with pupils.
* You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with ease.
* You are proactive in adapting support strategies to meet the unique and evolving learning needs of pupils.
