About the Role
At a thriving school, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our vibrant secondary community on a permanent, long-term basis. Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons to secondary students across various key stages.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Foster a stimulating classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore scientific concepts.
• Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
• Contribute to the wider science department through curriculum development and extra-curricular activities.
• Specialise in delivering Chemistry lessons, supporting students' understanding across both disciplines.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Biology or a related scientific field.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for science education and inspiring students.
• Possess the ability to teach Biology effectively across the secondary age range, including a strong aptitude for Chemistry.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student well-being.
• Be a collaborative team player, eager to contribute positively to the school community.
• Show dedication to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices.
