About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a inclusive school in Hertford on a permanent, long-term contract starting in September 2026. This pivotal role involves delivering high-quality mathematics education across the secondary phase, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for the subject amongst all pupils. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic and effective Maths lessons to diverse pupil groups.
* Cultivate a stimulating and positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
* Routinely assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Actively contribute to the ongoing development and review of the Maths curriculum.
* Engage with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil achievement and well-being.
* Participate fully in wider school activities and enrichment programmes.

About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
* You have an unwavering passion for mathematics and a genuine desire to ignite this enthusiasm in others.
* You are adept at differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional learning requirements.
* Your classroom management skills are exemplary, creating a respectful and productive learning space.
* You are a collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Applications are warmly welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced professionals seeking MPS or UPS remuneration.
