We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in Telford. This is a full-time position, requiring you to work five days a week, starting as soon as possible. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient running of lessons during times of teacher absence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and exercises to students.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Support students in understanding tasks and completing their work.
• Report any safeguarding concerns following school policy.
About You:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous experience working with young people in a school setting is desirable.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
• Flexible, resilient, and able to adapt to different situations.
