About the Role

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Teach Chemistry to Key Stage 3 and 4, ensuring excellent progress for all pupils.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
• Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment that promotes pupil welfare.
• Engage proactively with parents/carers regarding pupil progress and well-being.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Possess a relevant degree in Biology or a related scientific discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to teach Biology across all secondary key stages, and Chemistry to Key Stage 4.
• Exhibit a passion for science education and a commitment to pupil achievement.
• Be an enthusiastic and collaborative team player, eager to contribute to department success.
• Committed to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices.
