This pivotal role involves providing specialist support for primary pupils on the autism spectrum within a dedicated provision, implementing structured routines, tailored sensory strategies, and effective communication support. We are looking for someone eager to make a profound difference, with opportunities for daily supply, short-term, long-term, or permanent engagements, offering a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement structured routines and consistent approaches to learning.
* Facilitate effective communication using a range of appropriate strategies.
* Utilise sensory integration techniques to support pupil regulation and engagement.
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to primary pupils on the autism spectrum.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and therapists to support individual learning plans.

About You
* Possess prior experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions, ideally within a primary context.
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of the diverse needs of pupils on the autism spectrum.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for fostering positive learning experiences and pupil well-being.
* Show an adaptable and patient approach to supporting individual learning styles and behaviours.
* Command excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport effectively.
* Approach challenges with resilience, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
