Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored specialist support to primary-aged pupils with autism spectrum disorder.
* Implement structured routines to create a predictable and secure environment for learning.
* Utilise effective sensory strategies to support pupil engagement and well-being.
* Facilitate and enhance communication support systems for individual pupils.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals within the specialist provision.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to individualised education plans.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting children with autism spectrum disorder in a primary setting.
* A strong understanding of various communication strategies and sensory integration techniques is essential.
* You are patient, empathetic, and committed to promoting inclusive education for all pupils.
* Excellent interpersonal skills enable you to build rapport with children, colleagues, and parents effectively.
* You are proactive in implementing tailored support plans and adapting to individual pupil needs.
