About the Role
A flourishing school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join its specialist provision. This vital role involves supporting secondary-aged pupils with complex special educational needs, fostering their learning and development within an adapted curriculum. You will play a crucial part in promoting independence and engagement, making a tangible difference to young lives every day. We are looking for individuals available for immediate starts, with opportunities for various contract types including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent positions, all offering a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide targeted support to secondary-aged pupils with a range of complex special educational needs.
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of adapted learning activities and resources.
* Foster an inclusive environment where pupils can develop their independence and life skills.
* Support pupils' engagement in lessons, adapting communication methods as required.
* Contribute to the positive management of pupil behaviour and well-being throughout the school day.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and parents to support individual pupil progress.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting young people with special educational needs.
* Have prior experience working with secondary-aged pupils, ideally within an SEN setting.
* Demonstrate patience, resilience, and a compassionate approach to pupil support.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
* Show an ability to adapt your approach to meet diverse individual learning and emotional needs.
* Hold a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
