About the Role
A dedicated school within the West Midlands is seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist primary team. This vital role involves providing tailored support to primary-aged pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), engaging with children presenting complex learning needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and significant speech and language difficulties. The position offers diverse contract options, from immediate daily supply to long-term and permanent opportunities, with a competitive daily rate of £90-£115.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support to primary pupils with complex SEN.
* Implement individualised learning plans, adapting resources to meet specific needs.
* Assist in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and other professionals to monitor pupil progress.
* Support pupils' social, emotional, and communication development throughout the school day.
* Contribute to creating a safe and stimulating educational experience for all learners.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting children with special educational needs, particularly within a primary setting.
* You have a genuine passion for making a significant difference to the lives of vulnerable learners.
* Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to build rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
* You are resilient, patient, and able to adapt your approach to diverse learning styles and challenges.
* A strong understanding of EHCPs and their practical application is essential for this role.
