We are seeking a compassionate and proactive PMLD Support Assistant to offer vital, long-term, and permanent assistance to primary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties within our specialist provision. This crucial role requires an immediate start, making a significant impact on children’s educational and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Assist pupils with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities to enhance learning and development.
* Implement individualised therapy programmes as directed by specialists.
* Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and therapists to support pupil progress.

About You
* You possess proven experience supporting children or young people with PMLD.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach defines your professional character.
* You demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding procedures and best practices.
* Excellent communication skills enable you to interact effectively with pupils and colleagues.
* You are proactive and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic educational setting.
* A genuine commitment to making a positive difference in children’s lives is paramount.
