Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored 1:1 support to a secondary pupil with complex needs.
* Effectively implement and track progress against Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets.
* Facilitate the pupil's engagement with and access to the secondary curriculum.
* Actively promote the development of independence, communication, and essential life skills.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and other support staff to ensure holistic provision.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to review meetings.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting pupils with complex Special Educational Needs, ideally within a secondary setting.
* Hold a strong understanding of EHCPs and their practical application.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for nurturing individual pupil development and achieving positive outcomes.
* Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport effectively.
* Demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience when facing challenges.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional growth.
