About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Science Teacher to join a progressive school on a permanent, long-term contract starting in September 2026. This pivotal role involves delivering a comprehensive and engaging science curriculum across the secondary phase, fostering a love for scientific inquiry among all students. You will be instrumental in nurturing academic curiosity and supporting the holistic development of young learners within a vibrant mainstream educational setting.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver stimulating lessons across the science disciplines, catering to diverse learning needs.
* Accurately assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and challenged.
* Actively contribute to departmental initiatives and the broader school community.
* Maintain rigorous professional standards in all aspects of teaching and learning.
* Implement a variety of effective teaching strategies to maximise student engagement and understanding.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a specialism in any science area.
* Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as those on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for science education and its power to transform lives.
* Exhibit an ability to inspire and motivate young people to achieve their full potential.
* Show a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
