Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver exceptional Physics lessons across all key stages, fostering a genuine love for scientific inquiry.
• Assess student progress rigorously, providing timely and constructive feedback to support continuous academic development.
• Contribute actively to the wider Science department, sharing best practices and innovative teaching strategies with colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and impeccably managed classroom environment conducive to effective learning for all pupils.
• Engage proactively with parents and carers, communicating clearly regarding student achievement and overall wellbeing.
• Participate fully in departmental meetings, training sessions, and contribute positively to the school's continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, demonstrating a commitment to professional teaching standards.
• Possess a strong academic background in Physics, with the capability and willingness to teach Chemistry to at least Key Stage 3.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
• Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT), experienced Main Pay Scale (MPS) teacher, or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) teacher, inspiring students of all abilities.
• Exhibit a collaborative spirit, keen to contribute positively to a supportive and forward-thinking team.
