A forward-thinking school is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to provide crucial, individualised assistance to a secondary pupil with complex needs. This rewarding position involves meticulously following Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets, ensuring comprehensive access to the curriculum, and actively fostering the development of vital independence and life skills. We are open to discussions regarding long-term, daily supply, or permanent arrangements, commencing as soon as possible, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £85 to £110.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement bespoke support strategies outlined in the pupil’s EHCP to maximise their learning potential.
* Facilitate active participation in a diverse secondary curriculum, adapting resources as necessary.
* Proactively promote the acquisition of essential independence and self-help skills for daily life.
