About the Role
An ambitious school in Northampton is seeking a dedicated SEN Supply Teacher to join their supportive team immediately. This vital role involves covering classes across various adapted curriculum areas within a specialist secondary SEN setting. You will provide essential support, ensuring continuity of learning for students with diverse special educational needs on a daily supply and short-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a tangible difference in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across adapted curriculum areas.
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet the specific learning styles of students with SEN.
* Maintain a positive and productive learning environment in line with school policies.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, utilising positive reinforcement techniques.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to enhance learning.
* Ensure all students are supported to achieve their individual learning goals.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and ideally possess experience in a secondary SEN setting.
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting students with a range of special educational needs.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire learners.
* Be highly adaptable and resilient, thriving in varied classroom environments.
* Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport effectively.
* Show a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all young people.
