An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated English Teacher to join a well-established school in the South East of England. This long-term, permanent position, starting in September or sooner, offers the chance to inspire students across the secondary phase. We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers, as well as experienced professionals at MPS and UPS levels, with salary paid to scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across all secondary key stages.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for pupils.
* Assess pupil progress effectively and provide constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculum.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school activities.
* Support pupils' personal and academic growth throughout their journey.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Possess a strong passion for English language and literature.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
* Have the ability to inspire and motivate young people from diverse backgrounds.
* Exhibit strong communication and collaborative teamwork abilities.
