About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join a dynamic school within the heart of Buckinghamshire. We are seeking a passionate educator who is eager to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers, starting in September or sooner on a long-term permanent contract. You will have the chance to shape engaging learning experiences, cultivate creativity, and foster a deep appreciation for practical skills across the secondary phase.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging DT lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Maintain a stimulating and safe workshop environment, ensuring all equipment is used responsibly.
• Inspire pupils to explore various materials, technologies, and design processes with enthusiasm.
• Contribute positively to the collaborative ethos of the department and wider school community.
• Prepare pupils effectively for examinations and practical assessments within the DT curriculum.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Design and Technology or a related field.
• Possess a genuine passion for DT and the ability to effectively convey this to young people.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, fostering a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
• Be adept at differentiating lessons to challenge and support pupils of all attainment levels.
• Show a proactive commitment to continuous professional development and best practice in teaching.
• Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced educator at MPS/UPS, your dedication is valued.
