About the Role
Join a supportive school in Central London, where you will play a crucial role as an SEMH Teaching Assistant. This specialist provision is seeking dedicated SEN Support professionals to work with secondary pupils facing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. You will be instrumental in providing behaviour support, fostering emotional regulation, and facilitating pupils' successful reintegration into learning environments. We are looking for individuals available for immediate starts, with opportunities for long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent contracts.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary pupils with SEMH needs within a specialist educational setting.
* Implement effective strategies for positive behaviour management and de-escalation.
* Assist pupils in developing essential emotional regulation skills.
* Facilitate the successful reintegration of pupils into their academic learning.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure holistic pupil development.
* Support pupils with their general learning activities across various subjects.

About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
* Hold strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective with both pupils and colleagues.
* Demonstrate a proactive and adaptable approach to diverse learning environments.
* Show a genuine commitment to fostering pupils' personal growth and academic achievement.
* Have a relevant qualification or significant experience in SEN support.
