About the Role

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct support to pupils across primary key stages, individually and in small groups, to enhance their learning.
• Assist the class teacher with the preparation of engaging learning resources and the maintenance of a stimulating classroom environment.
• Contribute to the effective management of classroom behaviour, promoting a positive and inclusive educational experience for all.
• Support pupils with specific learning needs or special educational needs (SEN), adapting strategies to ensure their full participation.
• Observe and report on pupil progress and engagement, providing valuable feedback to the class teacher.
• Foster strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers to support a cohesive school community.

About You
• Hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Possess prior experience supporting primary-aged children within an educational setting.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for facilitating the academic and personal development of young learners.
• Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Show adaptability, resilience, and a proactive approach in a busy primary classroom.
• Be a collaborative team player, capable of working effectively alongside teaching staff and other professionals.
