Key Responsibilities
* Provide attentive one-on-one and small group support to pupils with diverse SEN requirements.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and the SENCo to implement personalised learning plans.
* Adapt learning resources and classroom activities to meet the specific needs of individual pupils.
* Monitor and accurately record pupil progress, contributing valuable insights to assessments and future planning.
* Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all pupils feel valued and understood.
* Assist pupils in developing essential independence and crucial social skills within the school setting.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting the educational journey and well-being of pupils with SEN.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* You exhibit a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach, navigating challenges with a calm and encouraging demeanour.
* You have previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school environment.
* You show initiative and a proactive attitude, readily adapting to diverse learning situations and individual needs.
