About the Role
A supportive school is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to join our thriving secondary phase. This vital role involves providing bespoke assistance to a specific pupil with complex special educational needs. You will be instrumental in supporting their educational journey, meticulously following their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets. Your focus will be on facilitating curriculum access and actively promoting the development of crucial independence and life skills within a nurturing environment. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference in a young person's learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide personalised 1:1 support to a secondary pupil with complex needs, both inside and outside the classroom.
* Effectively implement and monitor targets outlined within the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
* Adapt learning materials and classroom activities to ensure full curriculum accessibility for the individual.
