A dedicated school in Newham, East London, is seeking an exceptional SEN Supply Teacher to join their team on a daily supply and short-term basis. This vital role involves covering classes across a variety of adapted curriculum areas within specialist secondary SEN settings, providing essential support from an immediate start. You will be instrumental in maintaining continuity of learning for pupils with diverse special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
* Adapt lesson plans and resources to suit varying learning styles and abilities within secondary SEN settings.
* Effectively manage classroom dynamics, promoting a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and other support staff to maximise pupil engagement and progress.
* Provide clear and constructive feedback to pupils, fostering their academic and personal development.
* Ensure adherence to all school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and are eligible to work in the UK.
* Demonstrate previous successful experience working with secondary-aged pupils in SEN environments.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, promoting a structured and supportive atmosphere.
