The successful candidate can expect a competitive daily salary ranging from £90 to £115.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated support to secondary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Facilitate the development of essential social communication skills among pupils.
* Implement strategies to effectively manage sensory needs within the school setting.
* Assist students in accessing and engaging with the curriculum across various subjects.
* Foster an inclusive and understanding learning environment for all pupils.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure holistic student development.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience working with young people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Exhibit a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision.
* Display excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and highly resilient approach.
* Committed to promoting positive behaviour and fostering student independence.
* Proactive in identifying individual student needs and adapting support accordingly.
